Mark Bertagnolli, BS

Mark Bertagnolli is the Chief Business Officer at ViroMissile, Inc., an oncolytic virus development company in La Jolla, California, where heled the closing of a $10M A-Round. He also serves as Managing Member of Ayers Rock Capital, a family office in La Jolla, investing in and advising small companies across biotech, technology, and energy sectors. Previously, he founded a small-molecule oncology biotech and was the Chief Business Officer of Genelux Corporation. Mark has a background in finance, having served as a portfolio manager at FrontPoint Partners and as Principal and Partner at Andor Capital Management. Earlier in his career, he worked in equity research at Salomon Smith Barney and in the semiconductor industry. Mark began his career as a Navy Nuclear Engineering Officer in the US Nuclear Submarine Force. He holds a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering (cum laude) from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
