Alec McNayr

Alec McNayr is an entrepreneurial leader and advocate for innovation, serving as the founder of Spotlight & Co, a brand strategy agency. He co-founded McBeard, a pioneering social media advertising agency that grew to 150 employees before its acquisition by Fullscreen in 2015, executing campaigns for major clients like Disney and Netflix. Recognized as one of Advertising Age’s 40 Under 40 in 2017, Alec later became Executive Vice President of Marketing and Communication for Otter Media, a WarnerMedia division. He has invested in 100 startups and serves on the boards of Fooji and Vintage Church in Los Angeles. Alec has sold a comedy pilot script to ABC, won a Webby Award for his web series Flipper Nation, and co-authored the humor book Historical Tweets. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Pepperdine University and lives in Los Angeles with his wife and three daughters.
