Barry Swaim
Barry Swaim co-founded Tower Glass, Inc. in 1974, transforming it from a garage business into one of the largest glazing contractors in the U.S. The company has been recognized in the Top 10 Contractors by Glass Magazine and has completed landmark projects like the Tom Bradley International Terminal at LAX and expansions at major airports. Tower Glass specializes in healthcare projects, including Rady Children’s Hospital and Scripps Hospital, as well as significant facilities at universities such as UCLA and UCSD. It has evolved to design, engineer, and install proprietary systems. Barry also engages in teaching and venture capital consulting. A native of La Mesa, CA, he recently celebrated 50 years of marriage to Evelyn, with whom he has two children and seven grandchildren. Barry received his education from Grossmont and Mesa Community Colleges and Oklahoma Christian College.
