Ira Hayes

Ira is a dynamic entrepreneur, investor, and executive at IdeaPros, helping transform people into extraordinary business owners. With over 18 years of experience in engineering, business management, and innovation, Ira specializes in IoT and smart technologies aimed at enhancing security, efficiency, and wellbeing. He has successfully raised millions for various ventures, been featured on Shark Tank, and completed multiple Ironmans along with a grueling 100-mile ultramarathon. Notably, he also experienced life as an American refugee in Cuba after a sailing mishap and continues to paraglide, surf, and snowboard across the globe. Ira holds a Master of Science in Project Management and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from top aeronautical universities. Though ABD in a PhD in Organizational Psychology and Industrial Leadership, Ira refused to shift his dissertation from quantitative to qualitative. He is also a certified PMP and licensed engineer/GC with a strong record of executing secure facility projects, founding innovation-driven businesses, and transitioning from government contracting to the tech sector. His military service, advanced education, and hands-on experience enable him to consistently deliver results while living an adventurous life and inspiring others to have their “Best Day Ever.”
